Hi everyone. I want to ask you if ther is a way to convert .4d files to other file formats (3ds etc.).

I tried the java 4d program but it doesn't export into any format but .4d.

Thank you. smile

The programme you need is 3D Studio, it just might be that the file version is too new for the converter. I used 3ds max 2012 and it was working, don't know about the newest versions. Are you sure you're following the right procedure? I think you should start with an empty file, right click MESH and import mesh selecting your model.

I dont think I can tell you more. I cannot into skins. Maybe its that c4d program that spoilt it. Try getting a crack or a student version, if you are a student.

I have no idea, but this might be the problem. It works in 7.

I don't think I can help you more than by giving a hint to look at how existing tanks are made.
