Weird version of Phase Two or what ?

I got the italian version of the game about 4 months ago from a friend.But after the instalation it didn't had most of the essential folders.But it still worked fine.I managed to install a few simple mods including Kursk but i couldn't install any patches or anything because the setup didn't identified any instalation of the game at all...the game is working but i don't know why are essential folders like "mods" or "run" missing.

With thundering engines as fast as lightning
Through victory and defeat they fought their way
With blockades and tanks the foes tried to stop them
But in full speed they rolled at their prey

Yep, I have the same version (Russian language). The developer is the same (StormRegion) but instead of CDV the game was produced by Akella. I also couldn't patch the game. Anyway StormRegion refused to support me.

The real problem is some mods work while others don't...should i find another version of the game ? I can't use any skins or models because of this.I tried putting all the new models and skins in the mods folder but when i start the game with Codename Panzers Mod it shows different errors...that it couldn't find a file or something. sad

Try reading ReadMe.txt. The problem could be the game.ini file. Try doing the following steps:
1. Open game.ini
2. Delete everything
3. Copy and paste:

Quote

[Paths]
Search = .\Mods;./main.pak;./ita.pak
Search Base = .
Home = .
Locale = en

[Editor]
Right Panel = 0
Test in game = Panzers_Phase_2.exe
Test ini = game.ini

[Debug]
Debug Level = 0

4. Create a directory PANZERS Folder\Run\Mods and put your mods in there.

If nothing helps, I'd suggest you to buy the Platinum version featuring both Phase 1 & Phase 2. The price is only around $10.
