Hi all! Nice to see you again! I am working on realy panzers : first of the series: Panzer IV ausf C ( converted from 1C) in various skins.
Coming soon: panzer IV ausf D ( a nice one to replace the awful model of the original game), panzer II ausf C , Stug III ausf B, sdkfz 251/1, kleinerpanzerbefehlswagen I, panzer III ausf E..
Download at http://www.mediafire.com/?xg3oc4p3dx3g39k

See you soon.

Hanomag sdkfz 251/1 ausf C in various skins ( winter coming soon). At last we have an authentic german APC, the sdkfz 250 included in the game was smaller and used for reconnaissance duties, but rarely as an infantry carrier.
Download at http://www.mediafire.com/?g8agof9xlz18516
Coming soon sdkfz 251/1 ausf D (late war).
See you!

In my opinion, it is advisable to provide a screenshot of the new skins. If the work is good, there will be download.

Thank you so much for creating these PantherG! biggrin
I was getting sick of the old panzer III and IV models.

I'm also very glad for these new skins since I'm in need of some new "early-panzer-models" for my new campaign smile

Very realistic new models! hands

I hope you will upload them once finished PantherG. Rommel is my favourite german officer of the conflict, and the french campaign (fall Gelb) is also one of my favourites! I wish you luck on creating them! smile

Hey PantherG,

The models are great, I'll integrate them into update 2.1. Mind one thing though, when creating vehicles with a turret, the turret mesh must go after "gun0h" dummy in the 4D file. Else the turret will be moving incorrectly as in the earlier Panzer IV C model. To see the difference, go to the Editor put a Panzer IV C on the map, try to drag it with your mouse quickly. You'll see the turret lagging behind. Bottom line, Place 0: "body", 1: "gun0h", 2: "turret"...

Example Correct 4D file hierarchy:

[ body ] > Mesh
[ gun0h ] > Dummy
[ turret ] > Mesh
[ gun0m0 ] > Dummy
[ headlight0 ] > Dummy
[ fix_night_blight_01 ] > Lite Object
[ wheel0l] > Mesh
...

Incorrect 4D:

[ headlight0 ] > Dummy
[ body ] > Mesh
[ turret ] > Mesh
[ gun0h ] > Dummy
[ gun0m0 ] > Dummy
[ wheel0l] > Mesh
...

Besides that, great work ok

The units are nice, the models are very pretty, thanks, but either put svastikas on the red flags as they were or don't create the flags at all, this looks... you know... :/

Hi Macer!
Thanks for your compliments about my models. I always try to get the maximum historical accuracy in our game because I think it can be made into an excellent tactical game, despite its age!( 6 years already!).
I think I have a good knowledge of WW2 and I can adapt, modify, or create every armored vehicle we need, I only need time ! ;-)).
I must always make a careful study of everything to avoid anachronism or lack of authenticity.About swastikas now: I agree with you, we should represent them for historical accuracy but law rules forbide this in many european countries, I don't want to get the site in trouble , but if you want, you can change it: just open the "canvas.dds" file and modify it.
If you want , i can send it to you ..
See you!

I heard about those laws... copyright by Adolf Hitler or sth like that smile Actually, "ge tiger old (camo) MG" used to have one, so I thought we are ignoring them. Don't worry, I'm not a fan of swastikas or Nazis smile
I really don't understand why games should not be treated as encyclopedias, which are allowed to be literal.
Anyway, if Hitler won the war, the American star would be forbidden to use wink

I see the new update brings some prototypes... I think we are now lacking American M1A1 90mm, Russian 85mm M1939 AA guns and a bigger than Priest American SPG (M12 maybe? something with good range). Oh! and American 76,2 or 90mm AT gun, 6-pounder looks poor beside FlaK 40 smile
