^^Read the forum first, you need 3DS max.
^Sorry Panzernet, I don't remember all the files included and I can't find the .zip with them. I'll search for them better in 3-4 weeks.

You have the instructions on how to open java 4d in this topic. You first create models with 3D Studio and then import them from .3ds files as meshes using the editor and then put together.

Yea, it worked smile , i tried with something easy for the beginning, just put a box in the back of a civilian truck, to make a repair truck for french and polish faction

I will have to find how to create new icons and new textures. I might find the answer by seeking in CP3 files.

EDIT: i have 3ds MAX 2017, it's the trial version (which reminds me it's almost at the end)

Hello guys, greetings

I need a little help with the java4d converter and the java4d editor:

I tried to convert .max and .3DS files with the converter, but it doesn't recognize the formats. I've used 3ds max 2011 to create the models and then dragged the files and dropped on the burger icon of the converter.

When using the editor I get a blank square when I try to view the model after opening a .4d file. Yes, I have jre 6u34 installed and running and have also copied and pasted the OpenGL dll files inside the System32 and SysWoW 64 folders.

   I'm running Win 7 Ultimate 64 bits.

Regards.

Hi wargamer

Actually i worked with .c4d and .3ds formats to make a try of merge in .4d, but at this point, my units not work properly, the editor crash and never see the unit i made, and the editor show up but a bit small in scale
i work with Cinema 4D R12 and 3ds converter 5.30 for the merge tries and for the moment i managed merge to 4d format, but i have problems like i say above
