Well I installed it but I keep getting a syntax error when I try too run the game: SProperties :: ParseFileData: 'units.ini':: SyntaxError, missing '='
There is a problem in the units.ini file. I would advise you to open the file with notepad and check for errors. If you need my help, open Editor.exe and post the error (it should be more detailed than the one you gave me).
Log system initialized (log level: 1) Application name: Editor
<1> ---------------------------------------------------- <0> FPU control word (after new SMilesConcert): 0x007F <0> FPU control word (after fldcw): 0x007F <Panic> SProperties::ParseFileData: 'units.ini': SyntaxError, missing '='
I can't find anything wrong with units.ini, but I'm not a programmer.
There appears to be a small error in the "units.ini" file (no "=" sign). Unless you want to check all the entries, I'd suggest to delete the "unit.ini" file. The game will work but instead of unit names you will see question marks. Hope this helps.
Ah, Ok. When you asked about that mod I thought that you is compatriot or latinamerican. I thought that I had been lucky and had found somebody talking my idiom.
PS: I desire a lot of luck to this new site and that soon there be plenty of members.
I also have an interest in the Civil War.I also have that syntax error and searched for it but couldn't find it...i get the same error at the Berlin 45 mod
