Hello everyone, Ghost141 and YOSOYO are proud to bring you a new version, Codename: Panzers Phase 3version 3.0 Black Rain.This mod gets a lot of bug fixes, vehicle rebalances, reworked skirmish, new units and new maps.

Bug fixes
Fixed Mgs being anti-tanks
Rewrote the whole objects.ini file, fixing fences being considered walls, which could cause issues in many maps
Fixed support place desert not being selectable
Added the names of many tanks missing them, japan ones included
Added/fixed descriptions and market picture of many tanks missing them
Fixed CP1 shaders with wrong names
Fixed tanks lacking of crews by default
Fixed tanks/AAs being able to area attack like a spg
Fixed Hungarian smg squads lack of effects error
Fixed missing texture on ge Panther - G (Sperber_camo) MG
Fixed ge sdkfz 11 goliath transporter wrong code that made the game crash
Fixed "ghost units" in the inf section of the german skirmish shop that made game crash
Corrected the Panther A and D, matching historical events. Whoever made them was following the common misconception A version came before D, when it was the opposite.
Fixed T34 1940 model winter having the t34 winter camo and vice versa
Changed m36-Slugger icon from tank to tank destroyer
Fixed russian Tactical bomber bugged sprite
Fixed sdkfz-250 mortar lack of internal textures
Created medals for french and russian army (now russian and french generals can be selected in the Hero name section of the maps editor)
Added many missing prv files
And much more.

Rebalances
All tds late game now have 60 range instead of 45
Changed the italian Bassotto into a spg
All light tanks now have 300 HP
All armored cars and trucks now have 200 HP
Damages rebalanced around the guns caliber but also taking into consideration the penetration
All the changes are available in the Discord server on Excel files
Rocket launchers have been buffed.

Maps fixed
Add the hero names in all the maps with french/russian heroes (related to the relative medals file being created so the game doesn't crash anymore at the end)
Fixed Road to Berlin map missing units and improved it
Fixed Cherburg missing units (both this and Road to Berlin map had a Pz 4 h (camo2) and Hummel (camo2) which both exist but with a space (camo 2).
Fixed end of the line triggers
Fixed Battle of Chojnice triggers
Fixed Assault of Crete fatal error when map starts.

All CP1 skirmish maps imported
Skirmish maps improved (they are called with the same name but with a “2” at the end), they highly reduce units getting stuck in the tents, making them uncapturable, and factories/tents are assigned to players from the start, making AIs attack immediately, giving less time to the player.

Battle of Singapore: too many objects missing coming from Berlin mod 1945
Commandos: editor crashes trying to open it.

Skirmish
Prices rebalanced
Early Phase is now Middle phase, allowing tanks like Tiger, Panther, Sherman Firefly, Kv-2 and others to become viable.
AI armies have way more units, and use more points than the player
Difficulties now match the following armies composition:
Late: Heavy Army, Medium = Meds + SPGs, Easy = Tds + Rocket Launchers
Middle: Heavy Army, Medium = Meds + SPGs, Easy = full tanks
New productive units from tents/factories.

Music
Not many changes here compared to the previous version, just a new music added, used in map AH-02.

How to install
This mod works for both Steam and CD versions.
Install CP3 V3.0 on a vanilla CP2, remove any other mods before installing, CP3 older versions included.

Go into Codename Panzers Phase Two folder and make a backup of thegame.ini file (can be used to switch between CP2 and CP3, also to check the language for the following step)

CP3 V3.0 game.ini is set as english by default. If you have adifferent language, you can either change the game.ini Locale = en into your game language (as mentione before CP2 game.ini) OR, for steam version, you can change your game language into english Proprieties > Language

Drag everything you find from the CP3 V3.0 folder into CodenamePanzers Phase Two one

Future Projects
Fix Tanks that can carry artillery pieces
Fix Japan tanks have no space for hero French/Polish/Japanese heroes with emblem and atk/def bonuses
New units: Is-3, T-44, T-29
Winter camos for tanks/units missing it
Import Berlin 1945 and Kursk mods
Fix supply buildings that can't automatically repair/heal
Make winter a 3rd type (after african and mediterran) and make the game automatically set winter camos when the 3rd type is selected
Create a market picture for e50 and other tanks that miss it
Expand the market picture (neutral) to include japan units or rework the faction as a new one
Expand the hero pfp section and add new pictures for the heroes missing it
Despite the “ghost units” problem has been solved, it’s not possible to add more inf for germany in early market since it just causes the problem again
Fix new artillery/at guns version that can’t be towed (which cause fatal errors trying to import old maps where they are).
