Hi everybody!
I'm developing a new scenario (a map converted from phase 1 because i'm lazy wink ) and got this error:
SGameLogic::UpdateActiveLocations() Invalid active location
What does this mean? The only thing I have got out of it so far is that something is wrong with my location(s) Is it because it's a map from phase 1 prehaps?
Be kind here at christmas-time and answer me soon! tongue

Hey,

First open the map in the Editor and eliminate all the errors before running it in the game.

Well there isen't any errors when I open the map in the editor... sad
Maybe it's because I have deleted every file I could find about the editor with the "Regedit" program. dry
You remember the tread I created called "Editor-problem"?

I doubt the Regedit caused this error. Try editing other maps and see if they load fine. If they do, the problem wasn't created by editing the registry. Keep in mind that CP1 maps have to be "error-free" to work in Phase 2 (except the ones caused by placing mobile units in blockmap and missing 4D files).

All my other scenarios work fine so it got to be some other thing thats wong with my map... I have used Phase 1 maps before. For example, I have created some skirmish maps with converted Phase 1 maps. I have already eliminated all errors in the map but I still get the error-messege. I have noticed that when I enter the editor and look into the triggers section, all my locations are f***ed up and placed random in my triggers. I have tried to put it all back i order manually, but when I have saved a I open the map again it's the same thing all over again. cry

One I have taken from the campaign of phase one. I think I have solved it thou. It turns out that theese errors do appear when you move a map around. I started by saveing it on my desktop, and then, when I had finished it I moved it the the panzers/Run/scenarios directory. Of some reason the map diden't work, and my triggers got messed up, but i now only place my maps in the scenarios folder. I that way I keep from getting such errors another time. smile But thanks for the interest anyway Kristof!

In this link you will find the files that appear when I play Panzer. displayed a wild folder called logs. I think my problem may be explained in these files
