hello everybody
I played panzers phase two for a long time, but only now I found this mod, but trying to unzip after downloaded the second part of the base version 2.0 it says that the file is damaged, anyway installing the first part, that unzipped successfully, he says that the mod was installed with success. the update 2.1 after have chosen the directory and clicked the "instal" button he blocks saying "please wait", running the game nothing has changed. since my os is windows 7 i must install the 1.08 patch for panzers, the game is in italian. what can i do?

Hello and welcome mattexander to our community! smile
If you use winrar:
When you will install PANZERS phase 3 mod 2.0 you should mark both (all the seperate) zip files. Then right-click and choose "extract to CP-3_2.0_setup/" ('I am not sure if it's the correct name for it)
Let it extract.
Open the folder and and launch the first part of the setup and install. Do the same with setup part 2 afterwards.
That should do it I think smile

When istalling update 2.1, extract the files like before, but after that open the folder and open the CP-3 2.1.zip with winrar and move all the folders manually to it's destination.

Hope this can be of some help for you, if not: write! tongue

I think you don't need the 1.08 update, my game works with Windows 7 after only setting compatibility with Windows XP SP3 in properties.

thanks tiger-ace biggrin ,
so for the first installation all things worked properly, I installed all the 2 parts, i tried the editor and it is perfect, but running the game a message says:
SProperties::load couldn't open (C:program files/panzers II/menu.ini): no such file o directory
infact it isn't in the directory... where can I find this menu.ini?
Macer, I had to install the patch because even though having setted the compatibility, the game was running at x2 speed, and installing it the problem solved

Hi Mattexander! cool I coulden't find my menu.ini in the panzers folder, but I found it in the en.pak file. If you are using the english version of panzers, then this should solve your problem. I don't know if it will work with other versions, but you can always try.

The file:

smile
Attachments: menu.ini(55Kb)

thanks for the file, smile
but before read your answer I tried this guide,
http://panzers.ucoz.com/forum/19-67-1
and now the game works( almost colpletely). happy
in the directory there are 3 .exe files,
1. panzers phase two (using this the game opens but in the main menu a message says "game damaged, reinstall the game")
2. panzers phase two mod ( using this the game starts, but immediatly closes and a windows message says "panzers phase two mod has stoppen working")
3. panzers phase three (using this the game works, except the skirmish mode) facepalm
when I try to open the skirmish mode the game blocks and a fatal error message says "SBoard::CreateFrame: Parent id (-1) is not valid"
what can I do to fix the skirmish problem?

Skirmish, for some reason, works only with Panzers phase 2 mod. Try reinstalling everything.

No no mattexander, don't reinstall everything just yet. I think I know what might be wrong. smile To play skirmish, use the panzers_mod.exe. I think you can't open it because the game is set to another compatibility than your somputer. If you are using windows 7, then right clik on the desktop icon (make one for panzer_mod.exe) and choose properties and click "compatibility" and mark "run in compatibility-mode for" with a \/ and select either vista or windows 7. This might solve your problem. smile

Oh yes! That's a good idea. Make a desktop shortcut for panzers_mod!

I'm just retured from the holyday and as soon as i could I tried running the game with compatibility, it worked perfectly, also with the skirmish mode. thanks you all!!!! biggrin
but now I have some questions:
1. before the mod the geme was completely in italian, now it is half italian and half english, what can I do to restore the full italian language? it isn't a problem, but I prefere as it was before...
2.now i have the last patch, 2.14,, but when I tried the 2.0 I liked so much the startup with the skull and the music of call of duty, is there a way to use this type of startup?

Well good you made it work! I don't know how to change the entire mod into italian, and I don' think it's possible... But if you want the "skull-loading-screen" here it is:
http://panzers.ucoz.com/load....-1-0-61
If you want the music too, I suggest reinstall the mod version 2.0 to get the music, but it's alot of work. wink

Well the download works fine for me....
Place the music in Panzers Phase 2/Run/CP-3 Main/music/ Name it menu.mp3.
The loading-screen should be placed in Panzers Phase 2/Run/CP-3 Main/menu/
Hope it helps you! smile
