Oh, now I see: les peaux=skins! I'm sorry, but I can't help you with this problem. Try the german CDV-forum (panzers). There you will find some hints concerning skinning. And a user named 'nightgambler' has written a tutorial about skinning -as far as I remenber. So you may contact him.
Hi everyone I too have some problems about skinning. I have read VPf2's very good tutorial about skinning. It all went fine but when I started the editor and selected the unit I had skinned it gave me this error messege: SGepard::CreateTextureFromDXT: Error loading units\mechanical/panzerI.dxt:Read failed(5):Expected 32768 bytes, read0. What I get out of this is that something is wrong about my modifyed DXT file. Can someone give me a little help?
You modified either the dimensions of the texture or some other factor that caused the filesize to change. You have to options, watch the filesize while converting DDS > DXT or don't convert (Leave the .dds extension, i.e. if the filename was panzer_i.dxt change the skin to panzer_i.dds). Hope this helps
Thanks for the reply, but I found out myself some days later I am soon going to post some of my work soon. Some skins for the danish Waffen SS volunteers in Frikorps-Danmark I will make some skins for: The rifle, smg, mg, rocket, medic, crew and sniper squad.
