Hi all! Nobody did this so I'll be the first one. I'm Teo41, a fan from Italy of Codename Panzer Phase II. I discovered CP3 a few months ago and I fell in love wit it. A few news about me: I'm attending university (Biotecnology) in Turin, this will be my second year. It's a very hard university and this leave me a few time to work with CP3.

My strong point in CP3 is using the Ingame Animation Maker (here is an example of my small job: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBeyU0no35M Yes, I know, the sky is missing! ^^) but I am really hopeless in editing maps sad

My dream was to create two small 'missions/maps/levels': one like the Call of Duty river Volga crossing, and the other one like the ending of this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTFeQq3133M

Anyway, I gave up with my dream since I am so incompetent with the Editor... and now I'm here: if someone needs to make some cutscenes, well... I'll do my best to help him!

Il vostro lavoro con la "IngameAnimaker" è abbastanza bene. Complimenti.
L'editor è semplice; Devi sperimentare un po' e vedere altre mappe. Vi incoraggio a sforzarsi un po'. Vale la pena.

Teo41! I have good news for you! smile
Fortunately I have an old map of mine which is about the volga-crossing. I even used sounds from Call of Duty like: "The one with the rifle shoots...". It's medium-detailed since I never finished it. You can take a look if you want. happy I can maybye find time to finish it, if you will make one or more cutscenes in it. smile

Tiger-Ace! Your map about the Volga-crossing looks interesting! If the .map file is not so heavy, you can send it to me via email. This is my adress: vonbossen@hotmail.it!
Of course, I'll make some cutscenes (maybe some Stukas bombing boats crossing the Volga or something else!)

Oh Teo41, I am sorry... The map yo have seen is in the tread "Mods for rfb" if I am not mistaken. That is not the map I am talking about. There are no pictures of the map I am wanting you to make cutscenes in uploaded here on the site. But if you really are interested in making this, then I will finish my map and send it to you. smile I have seen your video of the german artillery barrage on youtube. You are really good! hands

Tiger-Ace is right! This weekend i think I'll upload the 'Stalingrad Trailer with two endings', a co-production by Tiger-Ace and Teo41... I just need to find the dialogs of the russians and the 'Hurraaaaa!' of the final charge... (Tiger-Ace did a smashing job with that!)

Spoiler: there are audios from Red Orchestra 2 and musics from CP 1, COD and COD 2. There is also a part where russian commissars kill retreating soviet soldiers with Maxim MG... But you'll see more (I hope!) this weekend!

I would just need all the voices you used in your mission and, if you can, the dialogs of the Sgt. Borodin and the officer calling the artillery with the 'phone'... I managed to find all the other audios!

Ok, now I am saving the 'Intro' cutscene with the MPEG codec... but it's taking ages! Which is, in your opinion, the best way to save a cutscene (I need to save them so I can extract audio and... you have understood!)

Watch the 'Intro cutscene' of 'Stalingrad' mission by Tiger-Ace and tell me what do you think.

Tonight I keep fixing audio problems and (hopefully) you'll be able to enjoy the full mission as well as the trailer!

A small note:

The tanks "Tiger" not participated in Stalingrad. The "Tiger" was first used in action on 23 September 1942 near Leningrad.

Saludos.

Hello everyone. I want to tell you all that Teo41 and my project is going well. The map are nearly complete and about 40 % of the triggers are created. Teo41 has made several fantastic cutscenes, which will be seen in the map, and we have done very much out of incorporating sounds into the mission for realism and improved player experience. smile Here are the cutscenes of teo41:

My idea so far is that the map will have the following objetives:
Reach Stalingrad - Cross the river and reach the beach
Recapture Red Square - Eliminate the germans at red square and gain command of a soviet tank unit
Capture the Factory - Capture the factory from the germans
Hold the factory untill Rienforcements arrive - Explains itself lol
Capture the Observation Bunker- Capture the highly fortified bunker on top of the hill near the beach
Beat back the german amour collumn - A huge tank-battle near a traffic circle in the city.

Tell us (Teo41 and me) what you think. wink

Wow! I didn't expect compliments, especially from two veteran users like VPf2 and Lucas! This means that you didn't care about my little 'audio' problems... ^^
